| EGGSTRATTA
(easy breakfast for overnight guests) Cut 8 slices of bread into cubes and place in a 9x13 pan. Place cut up pieces of cooked ham, bacon or crumbled sausage (as much as
you like-up to 1 pound) on top of bread. Sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheese on
top of meat. Cut 8 more slices of bread into cubes
and place on top. Mix 6 eggs, 3 cups of milk, 1/2 teaspoon
of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of mustard and pour over the top soaking all of the layers. Sprinkle the top with 1 cup bread crumbs and 1/2 cup of melted butter. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. (This can be made the night before and left in the fridge to wait until morning to cook it when you have quests.) by Shay Lefebvre

with romaine lettuce 1 package of baby spinach 1 package of Whole milk mozzarella (shredded) 1 package of plain Goat cheese (crumbled) ½ oz of roasted sun flower seeds (for a sweeter taste – use honey roasted sun flower seeds) Lemon juice Garlic sea salt Black pepper Mix together in a big bowl and enjoy!

I Am That... I Am
I have had the hardest time selecting a book for this month’s article; normally I have a long list of books that I want to suggest and more to read later. But, the energies of August, and now going into September have been a challenge for me. I have been finding myself feeling lost for no apparent reason and just watching the days go by, and go by very quickly at that. So what is this new shove to go within and re-visit things from the past that I felt I had long ago released, what is it that I should be doing, and why does it feel like I’m not? I’ve been studying A Course In Miracles again and it’s all about stripping away layers of the ego, forgiveness and letting go of this illusion that we are this body, this parent, this job, this wife, this anything… because we truly are not any of those things. We are Divine, We are Love, and We are Never lost. In Truth there is nothing to forgive and nothing to let go of if we will allow ourselves to just BE. We have a choice in every moment to re-create how we feel and to come back to the magnificent being that we truly are. A Loving planet starts with loving ourselves. A healed planet starts by healing ourselves. We heal ourselves with Love and by Loving others.
There is a voice in the Universe urging us to remember our purpose for being on this great Earth. This is the voice of inspiration, which is within each and every one of us. ~ Dr Wayne Dyer
Now, over the years when I find myself in this frame of mind there are two books that I reach for…. one, There’s A Spiritual Solution to Every Problem by Wayne Dyer and, two, A Course In Miracles. Ok, I’ve already written about both of those, so now what? I can tell you that I have never read a Wayne Dyer book that was not life changing in some way, my favorite mentioned above of course, but there are so many others. My point in talking about Wayne Dyer is that I stumbled upon an interview that he did recently with Lilou Mase, (Love her by the way … Look her up on Lilou’s Juicy Living Tour for more great interviews!) I normally look at the time a video runs and then decide if I have “time” to watch it, but I started watching this one and before I could take my eyes away from Wayne and what he was saying twenty minutes had passed and I wasn’t about to care! The simple, humble message that he gives in this impromptu interview is one that every man, woman, child, teenager and human being should listen to, take into their hearts and REALIZE… So no book this month just this beautiful video. Also, In the video Wayne also talks about a beautiful spirit who had a near death experience that has touched his life ( I’ve included the link to her story below the video) …this, a man that we all view as a spiritual guru is still learning and being reminded of who he truly is and even with all he “knows” is still having “human” experiences just like the rest of us. I find his honesty and humbleness very touching. Please take the time to watch it;

Music Of The EthersI have always had a very rich, interesting and actually supernatural dream life. I have had many dreams that were premonitions. For a quick and simple example, before I got pregnant I had a dream that I was having a baby in September then in reality I unexpectedly did get pregnant that year and had her in September even though she was due in October. I have dreams that are extremely intuitive that tell me when loved ones are in some sort of trouble, and I have dreams that sometimes seem to take me to another realm or dimension of reality. I also have the normal very random dreams that don’t seem significant, but the ones that are significant really stand out in some way. Occasionally I have a very good dream that seems more real than life. It seems as if I have gone to another dimension, and it has a great effect on me. I never forget these specific dreams, and I always wish that I would have more of them. There is one that stands out in my mind. Years ago when I was sleeping I dreamed that I was on the beach at night with several other young women. These women were my best friends in the dream but not in waking life. We had a very strong attachment, and we were swimming and splashing in the ocean and walking together on the beach. We were laughing and talking, and we were saying that we wished that it was Friday night instead of Saturday night because we didn’t want to leave the beach or each other. We wanted it to last longer. It was dark outside except for the natural light of the moon, stars, and phosphor-escence, but in the distance there was one extremely bright light shining. I saw this light as the light coming from our beach house and guiding us home. We slowly began walking down the beach towards the light of our house. I walked alone in front of the other girls, and they began to sing. The song that they were singing was a repetitive chant. They were saying words that I have never heard before, but it was the same sounds over and over. The chant was hauntingly beautiful, and they were harmonizing perfectly. It had a tune that I have not been able to reproduce in my waking life, but I can still hear it in my mind but only faintly. As they sang their song began to stir something within me. It was moving me deeply and starting to make me cry, but I would not surrender to it. I held back my tears with all of my strength. I did not look back at them but just continued walking steadily towards the light. As they continued to sing I realized that the song that they were singing was harmonizing with everything around us. The ocean, the breeze, the moon, the sky, the stars, the sand, my soul, their souls, and their voices were all in complete harmony. And this song was filling everything. It was filling all of the space around us and within us, and it was as if everything in nature was singing this beautiful and ethereal song together. It seemed as if the actual breeze was blowing this chant along with the voices of my beloved friends. In my mind I thought, “I know this song! This is the song of the beach at night.” There are no real words to describe how something so bizarre and other worldly could seem so familiar to me. There are no words to describe how this simple chant could be so beautiful and so complex that I honestly cannot sing it in real life…..I tried. We continued to walk, and I continued to hold out from allowing myself to surrender to this song, but it was moving my soul. The complete harmony of this song seemed to be harmonizing with the actual cells in my body. Everything in me wanted to let go, but for some reason I would not. I would not even turn around and look at the girls because I knew that I would be forced to let go if I turned back. I just kept walking forward to the light of the house. When we reached the beach house the light was so bright that I could not even see the house at all, but I knew we were there. I could see the step up to the door. I stepped up onto the entrance in front of the opened doorway which had light pouring out of it………and I finally turned around to face the singing girls who were still on the beach. They were hugging each other and crying. When I saw this I just wanted to be with them. I wanted to surrender. I tried to step back down from the doorway to walk over to them with my arms wide open, but before I could make it down the step two big hands came from inside the bright light of the house and grabbed me. The hands were so strong that there was no way for me to get back to the singing girls. I could not see who the hands were coming from. All I could see was light, but the hands pulled me in and hugged me so tightly so that I could not get back to the beach or my friends. The hands and the light that they were coming from were loving me, but they were making it clear that there was no turning back for me, and that I could not stay in this place with these girls that I loved. I was not allowed to totally surrender to this experience. The whole thing had been so soul-stirring and moving that I was finally crying in the arms of whoever was in the bright light hugging me. Then I heard my husband’s voice saying, “What’s wrong?” In reality he was in the bed beside me and heard me crying in my sleep. Hearing his voice brought me back a little, but I was still in the twilight between asleep and awake, and I was crying. I said through the tears, “I just heard the most beautiful song that I have ever heard in my life.” But I immediately realized that I could not reproduce this song for him. I tried, but I could not. It was from some other dimension. I have never heard anything like it again. I hesitate to write about things like this because I have a feeling that many people will not really get it. It is actually frustrating to try to write about it or tell someone about it because there really are no words to do this justice. Yes….dreams are weird, but this one was weird in a way that stands out from other dreams. I do not know why I had this dream, but it was more than a dream. It was an experience that is beyond words. It was one of the fullest, richest and most real experiences that I have ever had. It had a major effect on me and in shaping who I am. I wish that I could go there and experience the music of the ethers and the love of those who sing it again, but I cannot do it at will. I do not know why my dream life can be so intense in various ways, but it has honestly been that way for as long as I can remember. Many times my dreams are boring and normal or non-existent too. But I always remember the amazing glimpses that I get into a larger, fuller, more complexly beautiful dimension of reality, and I pray for more and more.

Resistance is Futile Musings
Just in case you've been in a coma for the past couple of years and haven't noticed, change is all around us. We are in a time of change as agreed upon by the unified consciousness that we are a part of.
The Earth is changing as witnessed by the shifting of weather patterns, moving tectonic plates, and alterations in the magnetic field. Changing also is the polarity of our responses to these shifts (the debate over global warming and other environmental issues, for example).
The political climate is changing into one of unrest and challenging the status quo. The machinations of the political are no longer being accepted or tolerated and grass roots movements, on both sides of the political spectrum, are taking hold with greater numbers and power.
The financial empires of banking, trading stocks, and real estate are teetering on collapse because of rampant unchecked greed by a powerful few.
Information, while more readily available to more people than at any other time, is now a commodity, with your purchases, friends, political and spiritual inclinations, and even reading habits monitored, cataloged and purchased by whoever wants to sell you something. Privacy is a thing of the past.
There is no doubt we are living in the most unique time in history. We all notice, or are involved in, some or all of these areas of change, but on a day to day basis these global changes are more like background noise to the personal changes in our lives.
So how do you react to change? Do you embrace it, make it your friend and flow with it? Or run screaming into the closest closet, slam the door and put your fingers in your ears while chanting “I can't hear you”? Probably a combination of the two, based on what area of your life is being effected.
Or maybe you are of the mind set that everything is fine in your world, nothing is changing, and that uneasy feeling you get as you go to sleep was just the pizza from dinner. To quote Johnny Rivers (anyone under 50 won't know who that is, but just go with it), “The only thing that's permanent, is change.”
We, as a collective unified consciousness have chosen change to bring the whole universe up to a higher vibration, and you as a fragment of that collective are doing your part by bringing change into your life, so why resist it?
If you are faced with choices, it is because you are ready for them, and ready for change. You created these choices and if you go into a state of resistance to change, you will only create more choices until you make the shifts that are needed in your development.
I'm asked a lot during the course of talking to people how to know if the choices they are making are the “right” ones. First off, right for who? If you are making choices based on someone else's perspective, it is not your choice, but theirs.
Then I ask them to notice which choice they are resisting the most, and why. If you are staying on one course of action rather than changing, and it is difficult at every turn, requiring effort and fraught with problems and delays, maybe this isn't the best choice and your higher self that is connected to the whole is trying to tell you that.
When we are in sync with our higher selves, trusting in that process, we make choices that feel right for us without hesitation and the change is seamless, flowing, and everything we need is available.
Life is not supposed to be difficult . . .really. It is only when we resist and ignore our inner voice that the trouble starts. By staying entrenched in situations, places and relationships that are not in harmony with our vibration, we echo back that dis- harmony and create it in our environment.
As an example, we may think we have to keep this job (substitute lover, partner, or living situation) because we believe there is no other work for us and then the job becomes more difficult, requiring more effort until we can't take it any more, quit, and lo and behold, a better job is waiting for us.
Resistance to change creates a blockage of energy that doesn't allow anything new to come to us, thereby creating the illusion that we have limited choices, where in fact, if we are open to change we open up to all the possibilities.
So notice what areas of your life require effort to maintain and consider the thought that you may be creating the movement toward change. Open yourself up to the idea that you are ready for change so that all your choices appear. Then be aware of which one takes the least effort to move toward.
You can walk through a doorway because it presents itself or be pushed through it because that's where you need to be. All is chosen.

September / October Featured Gem Stone: Selenite |
A friend came to me recently and asked what stone would be good to help bring some positive energy into her life. She had been feeling stuck, she felt as though her life was in limbo and she couldn’t seem to shake these feelings no matter how much she meditated and practiced yoga. I introduced her to a few stones that I felt would help her clear her energy fields, and connect with her higher self so that she may gain clearer perspective. I also reassured her that even the most “spiritual” person can find them selves in a rut. What is important is that we remain as positive as possible, while we take these opportunities to discover our selves again, and hold on to the one absolute “This too shall pass”. Sometimes we are given opportunities to re - focus and wait for the next step to present its self. There are many stones that are useful in helping you clear your auric field of the energies no longer serving you, as well as offer an energy to act as an anchor as you connect to the inner most parts of your self where all the answers you could ever seek reside. This month I would like to introduce you to a stone that will not only help you with this but also a stone that will magnify the energies of any other stones you are working with. This months featured gem stone is Selenite. Selenite is a fibrous stone with striations running along its length. It is typically fairly clear, colorless or white. It may also be gray, green, or golden brown. The energy Selenite delivers is amongst one of the highest that activates the third eye, crown, and soul star chakras. It is an effective purifier, clearing the auric field of congested energies, and negativity. It gathers these energies, moving them out and and away from the physical self as well as the etheric body. Clearing these energies naturally helps one to overcome feelings of stagnation. When used in the wand form it can deliver high frequency energy to the body that assists physical healing. It may be used to connect with spirit guides, guardian angels, and will also assist one in unlocking the gateway to the higher levels of self that will also allow the higher self to anchor and establish presence.
