Acts of Kindness

KINDNESS TRANSCENDS
Everyone is transcended by committing or receiving a simple act of kindness, both are notably changed forever.

Kindness fills the donor with feelings of compassion and reinforces to the receiver the transcendental nature of kindness.

"What wisdom can you find
that is greater than kindness?"
-Jean Jacques Rousseau

Don't wait for people to be
friendly, show them how.
~Author Unknown

Kindness can restore hope
to many hearts through
a single act . . .
Never tire of doing little
things for another. Sometimes,
 those little things occupy the
biggest part in their heart.

Kind words produce their
own image in mens souls;
and a beautiful image it is.
They soothe and quiet and
comfort the hearer. They shame
him out of his sour, morose,
unkind feelings. We have not yet begun to use kind words in
such abundance as they ought
to be used.
-Blaise Pascal

"Blessed is he who speaks a kindness; thrice blessed is he who repeats it."

-Arabian Proverb

Kindness is one of the jewels
that adorns one's soul

Kindness is more than deeds.
It is an attitude, an expression,
a look, a touch.
It is anything that
lifts another person
 -C. Neil Strait

Kindness manifests through
the awareness of similarities
in feeling and needs

and easy to speak but

being, there is an opportunity

for kindness."

Treat everyone with politeness, even those who are rude to you - not because they are nice, but because you are.

"There is no they, only us.

We're part of a large fellowship
  called "the human race."
We all hurt the same.

We all love the same.

We all bleed the same.

We all need understanding

and care."

three winter months."

We are starstuff:

What is a Random Act Of Kindness?

"A random act of kindness is a purportedly selfless act performed by a person or persons wishing to either assist or cheer up an individual or in some cases even an animal. There will generally be no reason other than to make people smile, or be happier. Either spontaneous or planned in advance, random acts of kindness are encouraged by various communities.”
